Bridge Point Scholars is building the leading academic support network in the Caribbean. We are recruiting passionate, qualified independent tutors to deliver sessions through our platform, and we are reviewing applications on a rolling basis ahead of our July 2026 launch.
All Bridge Point tutors are engaged as independent contractors, not employees. You set your own availability and remain responsible for your own taxes and statutory obligations.

Engagement Overview
Independent tutors deliver individualized academic support to students in Forms 3–5 and college-preparatory students. Sessions may be conducted in students' homes, online via Google Meet, or at designated learning locations. You will work with students to strengthen subject mastery, build confidence, and improve exam performance.

Qualifications
- Strong academic background in relevant subject areas
- 18+ with completion of or current enrollment in an associate degree, university degree, or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working with secondary school students
Preferred
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience
- Strong performance in secondary-school exit exams
- Familiarity with SAT exam structure (for SAT tutors)
Elementary School Tutors
Primary School (Grades 1–6)
Engagement Overview
Independent elementary tutors work with students in primary school (Grades 1–6) to strengthen foundational academic skills in literacy, numeracy, and general learning development. You provide patient, supportive instruction that helps students build confidence and develop strong learning habits.
Subjects & Focus Areas
Tutors may also assist with preparation for primary-level assessments and national exams.

- Prior tutoring or teaching experience
- Experience working with primary school students
- Background in education, psychology, or child development
Caribbean-Wide: Remote Tutors Welcome
Are you based in Trinidad, Barbados, Jamaica, Dominica, or elsewhere in the Caribbean? If you know the secondary or sixth-form curricula or specialise in SAT prep, we want to hear from you. Remote-only tutors teach online sessions via Google Meet and are compensated at the same rates as local tutors.
