About
Hello, I am Kya. This year I’ll be graduating from The University of the West Indies with a Major in Psychology and Minor in Communication Studies. My passion for working with children stems from my earlier high school experiences, which included tutoring my younger sibling and cousins after school. This experience helped me discover my strengths in working with others, showing compassion and empathy. What is tutoring for me? It is more than an event or hobby. It is an opportunity to demonstrate patience, kindness and support to all children — to help them discover their own strengths in learning.
